Also the SAIL Program, taught by local Physical Therapist, Margaret Aris, on DVD. The exercises are mostly in the seated position with some standing movements. Margaret's targeted exercises strengthen muscles to improve balance and flexibility. Performing these exercises are the single most important activity adults can do to stay active and reduce chances of falling.

Strong Women was developed from research conducted by Dr. Miriam Nelson at Tufts University. The program has groups across the nation and throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Strong Women is designed to improve your strength and flexibility so you may continue to enjoy the activities of daily living, hobbies, recover from falls or surgery, and continue to have an active lifestyle.
