2020 Census

The U.S. Census counts every resident living in the United States. It is mandated by Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution and takes place every 10 years. Responses to the 2020 Census shape how billions in federal funding is distributed to local communities annually. A complete and accurate count in the 2020 Census depends on participation from everyone. For the first time, people will be able to respond anytime, anywhere — online from any device, by phone or by mail.
