Online candidate filing opens Monday, May 4, 2026 at 8:00 am
Online candidate filing closes promptly Friday, May 8, 2026 5:00 pm (IMPORTANT NOTE - Online filings must be completed and fully submitted no later than 5:00 pm on May 8th in order to be accepted)

In person candidate filing opens Monday, May 4, 2026 at 8:00 am
In person candidate filing closes promptly on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 5:00 pm

Filing candidacy online: candidate filing login (link will be active beginning at 8am, Monday, May 4th through 5pm on Friday, May 8th)

Filing candidacy via mail: Filings can be accepted via mail starting Monday, April 20, 2026 and must be received no later than May 8, 2026.
Filing candidacy in person: 240 NW Vancouver Ave, Stevenson, WA 98648 (in-person filings are accepted starting at 8:00 am on Monday, May 4th through 5:00 pm on Friday, May 8th)

Immediately after 5:00pm on the final day for candidates to file for office, Skamania County Elections will determine by lot the order in which candidates will appear on all ballots. The lot draw will take place in the Auditor's Office (240 NW Vancouver Ave, Stevenson, WA) and is open to the public, the media, and any candidates.

Public Disclosure Commission Information

Candidates for public office are required to file with the Washington Public Disclosure Commission (PDC). The type of filing and requirements vary depending on the type of office, the salary of the office, and campaign resources spent/collected. Please visit www.pdc.wa.gov or call 1-877-601-2828 if you have any questions on filing with the Commission.
