Burn season is typically October 1st - June 30th each year, weather depending, for all types of burning. Please be sure to check this website or call the office at (509) 427-3900 if you are unsure about current burning conditions.

East County Burn Ban - Expanded

The Skamania County Fire Marshal has expanded the East County burn ban to include recreational fires. Please see the attached notice from the Fire Marshal. 

This burn ban is for the East side of the County only. The communities affected are Cook, Mill-A, Willard, Underwood, and all private properties East of the dividing line that are under Skamania County jurisdiction. You can find the interactive map showing this dividing line here.
