Skamania County Sheriff is seeking qualified applicants for the position of 911 Coordinator/Emergency Management.

SUMMARY
Under the direction and control of the Director of Emergency Management (Sheriff), the Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC)guides the daily operations of emergency management; coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure the emergency management needs of Skamania County are addressed by the planning for, mitigation of, response to, and recovery from natural and man-made disasters.
The Emergency Management Coordinator plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of Skamania County’s 911 systems, including system administration and operations to provide highly responsible and complex 911 administrative support to the Sheriff.
