Natural Resource Aide

Skamania County Noxious Weed Program is seeking summer temporary applicants for the Natural Resource Aide position. Must be 18 years or older to apply.

SUMMARY
The weed program natural resource aide will perform work as part of a team to control identified weed species. The aide will perform work as part of a team to control identified weed species throughout the county using various Integrated Pest Management methods. Duties can include finding and logging locations of weed infestations and treating with mechanical and chemical methods such as herbicide application, hand pulling, grubbing, and cutting. Work requires use of a vehicle. Functional contacts include other weed department and county employees, the public and project partners.
