ADA Accommodations

 

It is the policy of the Superior Court of Skamania County to assure that qualified individuals with disabilities have equal and full access to the judicial system. Court staff shall make every effort to assist individuals requesting reasonable accommodations. For Superior Court courtroom accommodations (including requests for interpreters), requests can be made at the Superior Court Administrator’s office, officer of the court or designee and/or to the JudgGorge 4 IMGe in open court.  Most requests for accommodations can be made early and expeditiously by calling (509)427-3765 during business hours or emailing bell@co.skamania.wa.us.

General Court Rule 33 contains provisions governing request for accommodations for people with disabilities

Transcripts

Superior Court is a court of record. Most Superior Court proceedings are electronically recorded. To purchase a copy of the record, complete the request form  here  and send it with payment to the Superior Court Administrator. When requesting a copy, you will need to provide the hearing date, the names of the parties and the case number.

The following transcriptionists have been approved by the Court to prepare verbatim reports of proceedings (appellate transcripts) pursuant to GR35 and RAP 9.2.
