DIAL-A-RIDE TRANSPORTATION

 WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR DIAL-A-RIDE SERVICES? Services are available for all ages, but the program is targeted toward seniors, persons with disabilities and low-income persons.  Rides are provided Monday – Friday. PRIORITY SERVICES:

  • Medical appointments
  • Social Services appointments (DSHS, Social Security, Work Source)
  • Essential Shopping (pharmacies)

OTHER SERVICES:

  • Transportation to congregate meal site
  • Activity trips (Shopping)
  • Meals on Wheels

  HOW TO ARRANGE FOR A RIDE: IF YOU ARE ON MEDICAID PROGRAM

  • You MUST contact the Medicaid Transportation Broker at 1-800-752-9422 to request the ride two days in advance.
  • A Medicaid Transportation representative then contacts Skamania County Senior Services to arrange ride.

  IF YOU ARE NOT ON MEDICAID PROGRAM

  • Contact Skamania County Senior Services directly at 509-427-3990.  Please call at least one working day in advance to request a ride.
  • You must give the Transportation Coordinator the following information:
    • Your Name, Address and Phone Number
    • Date of your Ride
    • Time you need to arrive at Destination
    • Address and Phone Number of Destination
    • Time of your Return
  • The Dial-A-Ride Fares
