RESOLUTION No. 2002-64
ACTION AS A RESULT OF VACATION PROCEEDINGS
AND PUBLIC HEARING ON OCTOBER 07, 2002
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
SKAMANIA COUNTY
STEVENSON, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS Resolution 2002-43, approved on August 12, 2002, did declare the intent to vacate certain rights-of-way and did direct the County Engineer to report on the road as required by Chapter 36.87.040, R.C.W., and
WHEREAS the Board did receive the Engineers Report on said vacation and did call for a public hearing on this matter to be held on Monday, October 07, 2002, and
WHEREAS Notices of Hearing were published and posted as required by Chapter 36.87.050, R.C.W., and
WHEREAS, on October 07, 2002, a public hearing was held and testimony from the public was received, considered and recorded, and
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners have determined that the public would be benefited by the vacation of that certain rights-of-way,
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the information and testimony received regarding this matter and has determined this vacation of rights-of-way were in the best interest of Skamania County; now
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County, Washington does hereby ratify the vacation of that certain rights-of-way; now
BE IT THEREFORE ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SKAMANIA COUNTY, WASHINGTON in accordance with R.C.W. 36.87.060, that (OLD) CURLY CREEK ROAD No. 20040 (lying within Sections 27, 28, 33, 34, 35 and 36 of Township 7 North, Range 7 East, WM. and Sections 1 and 2 of Township 6 North, Range 7 East, WM.) be vacated at Mile Post 0.00 to Mile Post 7.14 (end).

Pursuant to action of October 07, 2002, this resolution is hereby approved and signed this 28th day of October 2002.
