RESOLUTION NO. 2002-51

(Dissolution of Regional Planning Council Fund)

WHEREAS, Resolution 1974-05, dated January 28, 1974, established a Regional Planning Council Fund; and

WHEREAS, there is $4,026.88 remaining in the Regional Planning Council Fund and said funds were allocated by Port of Skamania County, City of Stevenson, Skamania County General Services fund, City of North Bonneville and Fire District No. 4.

WHEREAS, the functions of the Regional Planning Council are now completed by Economic Development Council and the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development;

WHEREAS Resolution 2002-17 disbanded the Regional Planning Council on March 4, 2002; and

WHEREAS, Skamania County has no further need for a Regional Planning Council fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County, Washington, that it acknowledges that the Skamania Regional Planning Fund is hereby dissolved and any remaining funds will be proportionately returned to the appropriate agency wherein they came as follows:

Skamania County Current Expense 001.000.000.500 $2,865.47

Port of Skamania County $ 249.14

City of Stevenson $ 614.05

City of North Bonneville $ 240.34

Skamania County Fire District No. 4 $ 57.88
