RESOLUTION NO. 2002-38

AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE

AND

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County, Washington that the county requires the purchase of the following:

Six (6), 50 cu yd drop boxes and three (3), 39 cu yd recycle containers.

BE IT RESOLVED that Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of County Commissioners at the OFFICE OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S TO THE CLERK OF THE BOARD, IN THE COURTHOUSE, STEVENSON, WASHINGTON until 4:00 o’clock p.m. on July 26^th, 2002. Sealed proposals received will be opened and publicly read aloud on July 29, 2002, at 10:00 o’clock a.m. or shortly thereafter.

The Board reserves the right to: 1) reject any and all bids; 2) waive any irregular informalities in the bidding procedures or in the bids themselves; and 3) award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: the Board of County Commissioners directs and authorizes the Clerk of the Board to advertise the Notice to Contractors to call for bids in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 and/or RCW 36.32.250.

Specifications and proposal forms for this purchase may be obtained at the office of the OFFICE OF THE COUNTY ENGINEER IN THE COURTHOUSE ANNEX, STEVENSON, WASHINGTON.
