RESOLUTION 2002-32

(Adoption of the 2001 Comprehensive Solid and Moderate Risk Waste Management Plan)

WHEREAS, RCW 70.95.090 and 70.105.220 requires each local government or combination of contiguous local governments to prepare Local Solid Waste and Moderate Risk Waste Management Plans based on the state guidelines, and

WHEREAS, Skamania County has agreed to participate in the preparation in a joint City- County Solid and Moderate Risk Waste Management Plan, and

WHEREAS, Skamania County’s 2001 Comprehensive Solid and Moderate Risk Management Plan must be submitted to the Washington Department of Ecology with Resolutions or Motions of Plan Adoption by the Cities and County which are jointly preparing the Solid and Moderate Risk Waste Management Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Skamania County Board of Commissioners adopts the 2001 Comprehensive Solid and Moderate Risk Waste Management Plan.
