RESOLUTION 2001-59

(Designating the Official Seal for the Clerk of the Board for Skamania County)

WHEREAS, effective September 1, 2001, the Clerk of the Board duties for the Skamania County Board of Commissioners’ will transfer to the Commissioners’ staff; and

WHEREAS, the RCW 36.32.135 requires the Board of Commissioners’ to adopt an official seal for the purpose of sealing their proceedings, and copies of the same when signed and sealed by the said county commissioners, and attested by their clerk; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that any seal for the Clerk of the Board for the Skamania County Board of Commissioners previously adopted is hereby rescinded and is no longer valid as to any proceedings adopted after September 1, 2001; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Board hereby adopts the attached seal as set forth in “Attachment A” as the official seal for the Board of Commissioners to be used by the Clerk of the Board for Skamania County Board of Commissioners effective September 1, 2001.
