(TRANSFER CLERK OF THE BOARD DUTIES FROM AUDITOR TO COMMISSIONER)
WHEREAS, the RCW 32.32.110 allows for the Board of Commissioners to designate one of its employees to serve as clerk of the Board who shall attend its meetings and keep a record of its proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners deems it to be in the best interest of Skamania County to move the clerk of the board duties to the Commissioner’s office; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Skamania County Board of Commissioners hereby designates one of its employees to serve as clerk of the Board; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this new position will only be responsible for the clerk of the board duties beginning September 1, 2001 and that the Auditor is responsible for all clerk of the board duties that transpired prior to that date; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the effective date of this change shall be the 1st day of September, 2001.
