STEVENSON, WASHINGTON

WHEREAS Resolution 2001-01, dated January 16, 2001, did declare the intent to vacate certain rights-of-way and did direct the County Engineer to report on the road as required by Chapter 36.87.040, R.C.W., and

WHEREAS Notices of Hearing were published and posted as required by Chapter 36.87.050, R.C.W., and

WHEREAS, on June 25, 2001, a public hearing was held and statements and comments from the public were received, considered and recorded, and

WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners have determined that the public would be benefited by the vacation of that certain right-of-way.

BE IT THEREFORE ORDERD BY THEBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SKAMANIA COUNTY, WASHGINTON in accordance with R.C.W. 36.87.060, that

(1) portion of the old rights-of-way of Gropper Road, No. 20640, be vacated at mile post 0.00 to Mile Post 0.08 and more particularly described on the attached Schedule “A”, and

(2) reserving an utility easement over the southerly forty (40) feet as measured perpendicular to the north line of the Plat of Skamania light and Power Company Electric Addition.

VACATE PORTION OF

GROPPER ROAD #20640

A strip of land located in the south one half (1/2) of the northwest one quarter (1/4) of Section 36, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, WM., Skamania County, Washington

All that portion of county right-of-way lying north of the May 20, 1910 Plat of Skamania Light and Power Company Electric Addition in Section 36, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, WM., Skamania County, Washington and northerly of the following described line: Commencing at a Skamania County Monument marking the center one quarter of said Section 36; thence N 86o 15’ 43” W a distance of 1395.41 feet to the centerline intersection point of Loop Rod and Gropper Road according to County Engineers Drawing 4-5.0-AD0.89 of C.R.P. #87-5, said point being centerline Station 0+00 of Gropper Road and also being the True Point of Beginning; thence parallel to and thirty (30) feet to the left in a northerly and westerly direction along the following courses, N 11o 31’ 01” E a distance of 89.25 feet to the PC of a 100 foot radius curve to the right and PC Station 0+89.25; thence along said curve to the right through a central angle of 69o 48’ 02” a distance of 121.83 feet to PT Station 2+11.08; thence N81o 19’03” W a distance of 188.92 feet to Station 4+00 and the terminus point of said centerline, said terminus point being N84o 37”rr” E a distance of 1109.85 feet from the center one quarter of said Section 36 and as show by cross-hatching on EXHIBIT A.

EXCLUDING that portion of Valhalla Road, City of Stevenson.
