RESOLUTION 2001 – 25

(Amending Resolution 1998-10 to temporarily modify camping fees and length of stay)

WHEREAS, by Resolution 1998-10, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners adopted a Rental Policy for Skamania County Fairgrounds and County Parks; and

WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to amend camping fees and maximum length of stay for the period of April 3, 2001 through June 20, 2001 in county camping facilities at Home Valley Park, Big Cedars Park and Rock Creek Fairgrounds for persons staying at least 21 days during this period;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Skamania County Board of Commissioners that Resolution 1998-10 is hereby amended as follows for the period of April 3, 2001 through June 20, 2001 as follows:

CAMPING RULES: Maximum stay is 14 days per year, or maximum 21 with permit. Except for the period of April 3, 2001 through June 20, 2001 when the maximum stay shall be 60 days.

FEES: (per night; includes sales tax).

Skamania County resident: $7.00 per site, or $4.00 per site for those campers prepaying for a stay of no less than 21 days for the period of April 3, 2001 though June 20,2001.

Non-County Resident: $12.00 per site, or 6.00 per site for those campers prepaying for a stay of no less than 21 days for the period of April 3, 2001 though June 20, 2001.
