(Establishing new Waste Disposal Fees and
Revising Portions of Resolution 1993-29)
WHEREAS, the Skamania County solid Waste Advisory Committee has reviewed the current scrap iron and appliance disposal fees at the Skamania county transfer sites; and
WHEREAS, the Skamania County Solid Waste Advisory Committee has made a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners to increase the scrap iron and appliance disposal fees to reflect actual disposal costs; and
WHEREAS, the public was notified of the recommendations for rate increases through the press on April 11th, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners considered the rates in public meeting on the 30 th day of April, 2001; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Skamania County Board of Commissioners adopts new solid waste disposal fees for scrap iron and appliances for all Skamania County transfer sites (Mt. Pleasant, Stevenson and Underwood) as set forth in Attachment "A" of this resolution; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of these new fees shall be the 15th day of May 2001.
