RESOLUTION 2001 - 03

(Settlement of Skamania County Claim 2000-02)

WHEREAS, Skamania County received a claim for damages from Sunday Reilly; and

WHEREAS, the claim exceed the Counties deductible of $10,000 and the Washington Counties Risk Pool settled this claim on behalf of the County; and

WHEREAS, Skamania County has received a bill in the amount of $10,000.00 for the deductible amount on this claim.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Skamania County Board of Commissioners finds that the public’s interest will best be served by payment of the deductible for Claim 2000-02 (Sunday Reilly, claimant) in the amount of $10,000; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the appropriate county officials pay the sum of $10,000.00 from the Cumulative Reserve Contingent Liability Fund (102.000.000) to the Washington Counties Risk Pool.
