Skamania County Commissioners

Skamania County consists of three Commissioner Districts, with each elected representative serving a four year term.  Duties of the Board of Commissioners include setting policy, overseeing the annual budget and general management of County business.  Our Commissioners are responsible for direction of the following departments, each of which is managed by a Department Head: Central Services (information technology), Community Development, Community Health, General Services, Public Works, and Senior Services.  In addition, Commissioners serve on various boards and committees to further benefit the citizens of our county.

The Board of Commissioners hold business meetings every Tuesday at 9:30AM in the Board Room of the Skamania County Courthouse.  Meetings that follow a Monday holiday will be held on Wednesday, instead of Tuesday.  Workshops, special meetings, and public hearings are scheduled as necessary and are listed on the weekly agenda.  Further information about the Commissioner assignments, business meetings, minutes, and audio records are available by using the navigation tabs to your left.
