Chapter 1.16 GENERAL PENALTY

1.16.020 Penalty classifications.

There shall be three penalty classifications:

A. Infractions--punishable by a maximum fine of two hundred fifty dollars;

B. Misdemeanors--punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, imprisonment not exceeding ninety days or both;

C. Gross misdemeanors--punishable by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars, imprisonment not exceeding one year or both. (Ord. 1998-02 (part))
