R E S O L U T I O N 2007 - 36

(A resolution committing funding for the Port of Skamania County’s

District Wide Economic Impact Feasibility Study)

WHEREAS, the Board of Skamania County commissions approved a request from County’s .09 Tax Fund on Tuesday August 21, 2007 to help fund the Port of Skamania County’s District Wide Economic Impact Feasibility Study, and

WHEREAS, the county’s funds will be matched by a $50,000 grant from Washington State’s Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB), and $19,000 in cash from the Port of Skamania, and

WHEREAS, CERB requires evidence of committed of funding by the County be in the form of a resolution,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Skamania County commits $6,000 in cash from the County’s .09 tax fund to help fund the Port’s District Wide Economic Impact Feasibility Study.
