RESOLUTION 2007-08

 

 

                       (Amending Skamania County Personnel Policy, Resolution 2006-xx)

 

 

WHEREAS, Resolution 2006-45 adopted a comprehensive personnel policy for Skamania County and

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to amend that policy under Section 8; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Chapter 8 of the Skamania County Comprehensive Personnel Policy is hereby amended as outlined in Attachment A.

 

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that, except as herein modified, Resolution 2006-45 approved by the Board of Commissioners is hereby affirmed in its entirety.

 

PASSED IN REGULAR SESSION this ________ day of ____________, 2007.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that each of the undersigned being duly elected to public office in Skamania County hereby collectively agree to abide by the Skamania County Comprehensive Personnel Policy with all amendments and additions hereto which will be in effect during their term(s) of their office until and unless further action is taken regarding the same.

 


ATTACHMENT A

 

 

12.6.6  ANNUAL LEAVE CASH OUT  Effective June 1, 2006, an employee may cash out accumulated annual each year subject to the following conditions:

 

A.                 An employee may cash out no more than eighty (80) total hours of accumulated annual leave per calendar year;

 

B.                 After cash out, an employee must have a minimum of eighty (80) hours remaining in the employee’s annual leave bank;

 

C.                An employee must use at least eighty (80) hours annual leave (excluding donated leave) during the calendar year.  Eligibility for annual leave cash out will be based upon annual leave balance and planned usage of annual leave at the time of the employee’s written request.

 

D.                Only annual leave hours actually accrued, as of the time of the employee’s written request for cash out, will be counted to determine eligibility for the annual leave cash out;

 

E.                 An employee may submit a written annual leave cash out request in April and/or November of each year, with payment for cashed out annual leave to be included in the employee’s next regular payroll;

 

F.                 The rate of pay for cash out of annual leave will be the employee’s base pay in effect on the date of the cash out payment;
