(2006 Distribution of
WHEREAS, for Title I of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 Skamania County has received from the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, $4,826,807.60 for FY 2006 federal forest yield and $1,798.44 in interest and additionally received $2,519.03 in interest for FY 2004 and $584.03in interest for FY 2005, for a grand total of $4,831,709.10 in Title I funds; and
WHEREAS, for Title III of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 Skamania County has received from the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, $511,073.75 for FY 2006 federal forest yield and $190.42 in interest and additionally received $266.72 in interest for FY 2004 and $72.14 in interest for FY 2005, for a grand total of $511,603.03 in Title III funds; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the distribution of said funds should be made in the manner set forth below; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Treasurer of Skamania County is directed to distribute $5,343,312.13 as follows:
