RESOLUTION 2005-67

(To partially repay Solid Waste Fund Loan)

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the Solid Waste Fund’s indebtedness; and

WHEREAS, Resolution 2000-20, (which authorized certain loans), requires that all such debts be reduced by the first available revenues; and

WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Fund presently has the following indebtedness:

Resolution 2002-27 $ 35,915.07 plus interest Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund

Resolution 2003-22 $ 42,000.00 plus interest Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund

WHEREAS, Skamania County has received its Federal Forest funds for 2005; and

WHEREAS, The Commissioners have reviewed and considered the Solid Waste Fund's potential and reasonably anticipated future expenditures and revenues, and have determined that there is sufficient revenue available to partially repay the Solid Waste Fund's indebtedness.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Treasurer is hereby directed to pay on the 29th day of December, 2005 $73,397.00 from the Solid Waste Fund as partial payment of the Solid Waste Fund's indebtedness, as follows:

Resolution 2002-27

Final payment of Loan to Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund (124.000.000) $35,915.07

Interest to 12/29/05 $1,432.67

$37,347.74

Resolution 2003-22

Partial payment of Loan to Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund (124.000.000) $31,690.47

Interest to 12/29/05 $4,358.79

$36,049.26

Leaving a principle balance on the loan under Resolution 2003-22 of $10,309.53 to be repaid with the first available funds.
