RESOLUTION 2005-59

(Authorizing Signature of Local Agency Agreement for reimbursement of Preliminary Engineering funds through the Rural County Two-Lane Roadway Program, and Assigning CRP Number)

WHEREAS, Skamania County has applied for and has been selected by Washington State Department of Transportation to receive $500,000 in grant funding for the Rural County Two-Lane Roadway program. Skamania County will initially enter into a Local Agency Agreement with Washington State Department of Transportation for reimbursement of $110,000 in preliminary engineering funds to be expended for the Rural County Two-Lane Roadway program.

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners believes it is in the best interest of the County to enter into this Local Agency Agreement with Washington State Department of Transportation.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Skamania County Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes County Road Project No. 2005-03 for development and administration of the Rural County Two-Lane Roadway program

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Skamania County Board of Commissioners authorizes the signing of the Local Agency Agreement with Washington State Department of Transportation for reimbursement of preliminary engineering funds expended towards the Rural County Two-Lane Roadway program (Local Force or Ad and Award - Financing Method C – Agency cost incurred with partial reimbursement).
