RESOLUTION 2005-46

 

(AMENDING RESOLUTION 1999-56, 2002-16, 2003-10, 2003-13 and 2003-16 TO MODIFY LAUNCH FEES AT DRANO LAKE BOAT LAUNCH)

 

WHEREAS, RCW 36.68.090 authorizes the County to charge a reasonable fee for the use of its recreational facilities, including boat launches; and

 

WHEREAS, Resolution 1999-56, Resolution 2002-16, Resolution 2003-10, Resolution 2003-13 and Resolution 2003-16 adopted launch fees for Wind River and Drano Lake; and

 

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners has determined that the upkeep and maintenance of providing this facility is costly to the County; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it is necessary to amend annual pass fees for Wind River and Drano Lake;

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Skamania County Board of Commissioners that launch fees for Wind River and Drano Lake be amended as follows:

 

Daily Launch Fee for Wind River or Drano Lake                                    $5.00

 

Annual Pass for Wind River and Drano (purchased Jan. 1 – June 30)      $55.00

Annual Pass for Wind River and Drano (purchased Jul. 1 – Sept. 30)      $40.00

Annual Pass for Wind River and Drano (purchased Oct. 1 – Dec. 31)     $25.00

 

Annual Pass for Wind River and Drano Lake for Skamania County residents

            70 years or older                                                                       $25.00

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that failure to provide proof of payment for launch fee services shall be subject to the penalties set out in Skamania County Code Section 10.16; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all Annual passes will expire on December 31 of the year purchased; and

 

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the effective date of the launch fees, as set out above, shall be January 1, 2006.
