RESOLUTION 2005-22

(AMENDING ER&R RESOLUTION 1977-12 TO

REFLECT CURRENT ER&R PROGRAM & POLICY)

WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.33A, through the actions of the Board of Commissioners Resolution No. 1977-12 was adopted establishing an Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund for the purpose of operating and maintenance of county road department and all other county department equipment and;

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the County Engineer to amend Resolution No. 1977-12 to reflect the ER&R Policy adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on April 14, 2003, and;

WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends that the amendment to Resolution 1977-12 reflect the ER&R Surplus Policy Ordinance 2003-04, adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 29, 2003 and;

WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends amending the resolution to reflect the currant operations of ER&R; the various departments, funds, and junior taxing districts who utilize the fund; and to assure that charges are equitable and in accordance with RCW 43.09.210; and name the appointed ER&R manager by position

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby adopt the following attachments

Attachment A: ER&R Policy

Attachment B: ER&R Surplus Policy Ordinance 2003-04

Attachment C: County Departments and Junior Taxing District utilizing the ER&R Fund

Attachment D: ER&R Organizational Chart

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby appoints the position of County Engineer as the ER&R Manager.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners approves the effective date of this action as July 5, 2005.
