RESOLUTION NO. 2005-17

 

(Establishing Fees for Vendors at the Skamania County Fair and Timber Carnival)

 

WHEREAS, RCW 36.37.10 authorizes counties to conduct county fairs, and

 

WHEREAS, Skamania County conducts the annual Skamania County Fair and Timber Carnival in partnership with the Skamania County Fair Board, a non-profit entity, and

 

WHEREAS, it has been determined to be necessary to provide commercial and food concession vendors at the fair, and

 

WHEREAS, it is also necessary to allow non-commercial community service exhibitors to provide information at the fair, and

 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2004-31 authorizes the Director of Community Events and Recreation to contract with vendors within the guidelines, policies and rates established by the Skamania County Board of Commissioners, and

 

WHEREAS, rates have been formerly established by the Skamania County Fair Board which are deemed to be reasonable and appropriate at the present time;

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Skamania County Commissioners do hereby adopt the following rates for vendors at the Skamania County Fair and Timber Carnival effective this date.

            Food Vendor:                                      

                                   

                        OUTSI DE SPACE      $150.00 FOR 10 FT X 12 FT

                                                            Additional space @$10.00 per linear foot

 

                        CANOPIED SPACE   No longer available

 

                                                            $20.00 per 110-volt outlet

                                                            $30.00 per 220-volt outlet

 

                        DEPOSIT                    $50.00 due 60 days before fair

                       

            Commercial Vendor:                            

                                   

                        OUTSI DE SPACE      $100.00 FOR 10 FT X 12 FT

                                                            Additional space @$10.00 per linear foot

 

                        CANOPIED SPACE   $125.00 FOR 12 FT X 12 FT

                                                            No additional increments available

 

                                                            $20.00 per 110-volt outlet

                                                            $30.00 per 220-volt outlet

 

                        DEPOSIT                    $50.00 due 60 days before fair

 

Non-commercial Community Service Exhibitors:                                  

                                   

                        OUTSI DE or INSIDE SPACE            $10.00 per booth

 

            Above listed fees do not include insurance where required by County Policy, and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Community Events and Recreation be allowed to make minor adjustments to these rates for unforeseen conditions on site which would warrant a change in fee in order to be equitable with other vendors.
