RESOLUTION 2004-56

(2004 Distribution of Federal Forest Fund Receipts from Treasurer's Trust)

WHEREAS, Skamania County has received from the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, $4,671,571.28 for FY 2004 federal forest yield for Title I and $0.00 in interest for a total sum of $4,671.571.28 and

WHEREAS, $4,650,000.00 was estimated as federal forest yield revenue for 2004; and

WHEREAS, $21,571.28 more than the 2004 estimated federal forest fund revenue was received; and

WHEREAS, Skamania County has received from the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, $577,076.45 for FY 2004 Federal Forest Title III and $0.00 in interest for a total sum of $577,076.45; and

WHEREAS, the Board finds that the distribution of said funds should be made in the manner set forth below; and

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the Nuisance Control Fund needs additional funds to implement nuisance control activities.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Treasurer of Skamania County is directed to distribute $5,248,647.73 as follows:

Fair Fund (1150.000) $ 19,404.00

Senior Services (1160.000) $ 118,000.00

Election Reserve Fund (1180.000) $ 32,730.00

County Road Fund (1400.000) $1,099,741.00

Solid Waste Fund (4010.000) $ 302,878.00

$4,666,571.28

TITLE III (1300.000) $ 577,076.45

NUISANCE CONTROL (1280.000) $ 5,000.00
