RESOLUTION 2004-10

(INTENT TO VACATE A PORTION OF

ST. MARTIN’S SPRINGS WITHIN SKAMANIA COUNTY)

WHEREAS, St. Martin’s Springs Road, County Road No. 20580, is a county road listed on our County Road Log commencing at Hot Springs Avenue Road at Mile Post 0.90 for a length of about 0.24 miles, and

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners considers that a county road known as St. Martin’s Springs Road, County Road No. 20580, between Mile Post 0.12 and Mile Post 0.24 (end), may be useless to the general public as a part of the public road system, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County, Washington, declares its intent to vacate and abandon that portion of St. Martin’s Springs Road between Mile Post 0.12 and Mile Post 0.24 (end); and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with RCW 36.87.010, the County Engineer is hereby ordered to examine St. Martin’s Springs Road, and as required by RCW 36.87.040, report his findings to the Board.
