RESOLUTION NO. 2004-03

(declare emergency to exist due to weather)

WHEREAS, inclement weather conditions are such to create emergent conditions in the entire area of Skamania County; and

WHEREAS, the County may need to contract with private or public entities to help handle the problems created by the inclement weather conditions.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board deems that pursuant to RCW 36.32.270 and RCW 39.80.060 a state of emergency exists in Skamania County and hereby authorizes all employees to take the appropriate and necessary emergency measure to protect life and property in accordance with the guidelines now in existence or hereafter adopted.
