(Creating the Inmate Welfare Fund (#1085.000)

WHEREAS, Skamania County desires to create a new fund called “Inmate Welfare” (Fund # 1085.000) to provide for the purchase items and services for the benefit of Skamania County Jail inmates;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT a Special Revenue Fund called “Inmate Welfare” (1085.000) is hereby created for the purpose of

1) purchasing supplies and services for the benefit of inmates of the Skamania County Jail; and

2) purchasing supplies for resale for the jail commissary for the benefit of inmates of the Skamania County Jail;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all revenue received from the inmate jail phone system and from the resale of commissary items be deposited in the Inmate Welfare Fund.
