RESOLUTUTION 2003 – 33

(Creating a Department of Emergency Management

within the Current Expense Fund).

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners has decided to withdraw from the Skamania County Department of Emergency Management, a separate municipal corporation from the County, and to create a “Department of Emergency Management” within the County’s Current Expense Program; and

WHEREAS, the Board adopted Ordinance 2003-09 setting forth the new organizational structure for the Department of Emergency Management; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish the new department within the Current Expense fund so a budget can be adopted for the new department; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners hereby creates the Department of Emergency Management (Department 275) within the Skamania County Current Expense Fund.
