RESOLUTION No. 2003-22

(Interfund Loan from Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund to Solid Waste Fund)

WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Fund is temporarily short of funds to meet its payroll obligations; and

WHEREAS, the Board anticipates funds will be available to replenish the Solid Waste Fund and to repay the loan from the Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund; and

WHEREAS, the Cumulative Reserve Loan Fund was established to provide short and long term loans to other operating funds; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County, Washington, that the County Treasurer is directed to borrow $42,000.00 from the CUMULATIVE RESERVE LOAN FUND (124.000.000) and loan said monies to the SOLID WASTE FUND (401.000.000); this transaction shall be considered an interfund loan from the CUMULATIVE RESERVE LOAN FUND, to the SOLID WASTE FUND and is to be repaid from the first available funds, together with interest at 4%, not later than three (3) years from the date hereof.
