Department of Planning and Community Development Fee Schedule to replace all previous Department of Planning and Community Development fee schedule resolutions
WHEREAS, the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development is responsible for the administration of the Skamania County Code (SCC) Title 16 (Environment), SCC Title 17 (Subdivisions), SCC Title 18 (Mobile Homes and Recreational Vehicle Parks), SCC Title 20 (Shoreline Management), SCC Title 21 (Zoning), SCC Title 21A (Critical Areas), SCC Title 22 (Skamania County Management Plan for Columbia River Gorge (NSA)), and SCC Title 23 (Forest Practices Moratorium); and,
WHEREAS, each of the above referenced Skamania County Code Titles contain language indicating a fee may be charged for review of applications and appeals, and that fees shall be established by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners; and,
WHEREAS, the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development is responsible for providing copies of requested Planning Department information/documentation to the public; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens to have a comprehensive fee listing rather than the previous multiple fee amendment lists; and,
WHEREAS, Skamania County has adopted a new process for Mobile Home Parks that includes the use of the existing conditional use permit process, so there is no longer a need for a separate Mobile Home Park application fee; and,
WHEREAS, Skamania County has found the need to create a two tier National Scenic Area Letter Amendment Fee, where amending a Class 1 Development would require a Class 1 amendment fee rather than the existing Class 2 fee; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Skamania County Board of Commissioners that the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development shall charge the following fees for land use applications and requested Planning Department information/documentation:

Applications which are received after a development or land use has occurred (after-the-fact application) | $500.00 or 3 times the specific application fee whichever is greater. |
