Advisory Notice

Skamania County Road Department will start their annual chip seal maintenance program on or about June 9^th of this year in the West End of the County. We are asking that all vehicles on the scheduled roads be parked outside of the Rights of Way. This will help keep costs down and get the job done right.

Prior to the chip seal application, the department will broom all the roads listed below, this will happen with-in two weeks of the start date. They will again be swept a day or two after the application of emulsion and rock. It is extremely important at this time to have all vehicles outside of the Rights of Way. The last operation in this process is to apply an asphalt emulsion to finish the chip seal process. This application will occur about 1 week later. Proposed dates of the Fog Seal Application will start June 19^th. Rain days after June 9^th could delay this schedule.

Below are a list of roads and the sections being done with a tentative date of application. Delays due to weather or other road maintenance requirements could change this schedule.
