ORDINANCE 2003-04

(An Ordinance Rescinding Resolution 1987-09 and Ordinance 1991-05 and adopting a new Comprehensive Procedure for the management of County owned Personal; and Real Property and methods of Disposing of County Surplus Property)

WHEREAS, RCW 36.34.005 provides that a county may adopt a procedure for the management of county-owned personal property; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that the public health, safety and welfare of the people of Skamania county would best be served by the adoption of a policy that would be more cost effective and less cumbersome relating to the management of county-owned personal and real property, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THIS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SKAMANIA COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that Ordinance 1987-09 and Ordinance 1991-05 is hereby repealed and

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED that the new policy be established as set out in Attachment A “County Property $2,500 and over” and Attachment B “County Property Less than $2,500”.

REVIEWED this 14^th day of April 2003, and set for public hearing on the 29^th day of April 2003, at 10:00 a.m.
