ORDINANCE 2001-09
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE NUMBER 2001-03 BY AMENDING CHAPTER VII
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED and ESTABLISHED by the Skamania County Board of County Commissioners, that Chapter VII of Interim Ordinance number 2001-03 is amended and replaced as follows:
VII.010 The County shall adopt a conversion ordinance to regulate conversion of forestland on or before December 31, 2002. Accordingly, this interim ordinance will cease to have any legal effect upon the earlier of either: (1) the passage of a new ordinance to regulate the conversion of forest land to nonforestry uses as provided in RCW 76.09; OR (2) January 1, 2003; Unless this deadline is extended by the Board of County Commissioners through a properly adopted ordinance: Except any application to waive or lift the moratorium received by the Planning Department on or before the deadline provided in this section shall be administered in accordance with this ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance amending chapter VII.010 of interim ordinance 2001-03 shall become effective upon adoption by the Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County.
