SAFETY AND SECURITY GUIDELINES

THE QUIET POSITION:  

When given the "Quiet Position" command:

1. Stop what you are doing.

2. Place your hands to your sides (sitting or standing).

3. Do not talk.  If you have a question, cock one of your wrists.

4. Follow staff instructions.

5. Remain in the "Quiet Position" until directed otherwise.

THE DROP POSITION:

When given the "Drop Position" command, you must:

1. Stop what you are doing.

2. Immediately sit on the floor.

3. Cover your head with hands and rest your head on your knees.

4. Remain quiet (no talking) and wait for directions from staff.

CLEAR THE FLOOR:

When given the "Clear the Floor" command, you must:

1. Stop what you are doing.

2. Return to your room.

3. Close the door.
