Infractions and Privilege Loss MAJOR RULE VIOLATIONS: The following behaviors are considered Major Rule Violations and will result in 72 hours of privilege loss (includes no school) and a potential loss of good time. You may be charged with a new criminal offense for engaging in the following behaviors. We consider these behaviors to be unsafe, a threat to staff, other residents, and the safety and security of the Detention Center. Continued engagement in these behaviors may result in more restrictive programming. Assault Fighting Escape Attempts Possession of Contraband from outside the facility Possession of Contraband from inside the facility that can be used as a weapon Physical Restraint Inappropriate Sexual Behavior Failure to follow "Clear the Floor & Drop Position" directive Flooding
MAJOR RULE INFRACTIONS: The following behaviors are considered Major Rule Infractions and may result in up to 72 hours of privilege loss and the potential loss of good time. Detention Staff have discretion in terms of determining the actual consequence, based on the circumstances of the infraction. Youth may attend school while serving this consequence for these behaviors. We consider these behaviors as disruptive, unsafe, and a threat to staff and residents. 24 HOUR PRIVILEGE LOSS The following behaviors will result in 24 hours of privilege loss. Refusing to go to school - Juveniles by law are mandated to attend school. Refusing to attend school will result in 24 hour privilege loss. Youth on this privilege loss will have their bedding removed during school hours to discourage youth from sleeping. Refusing to shower in the AM - Youth are expected to practice good hygiene while in detention.
